The Detex Value Series V40-EB is a Grade 1 rim exit device with an integrated battery-powered exit alarm for commercial and institutional doors. The alarm helps identify unauthorized door use and operates using a replaceable 9-volt battery.

Designed for single doors and pairs of doors with mullions, the V40-EB features a stainless steel 3/4-inch deadlocking Pullman-style latchbolt and a heavy-duty ribbed aluminum rail. Its non-handed, field-sizeable construction and patented mounting system help make installation accurate and efficient.

Finished in 628 clear anodized aluminum, this exit device offers dependable performance for offices, retail spaces, schools, warehouses and other high-traffic commercial environments.
